You would be better to sell her 3 ipods and buy a beigge. PSP Sound Not Working Properly?
My PSP is acting a little funky when headphones or speakers are plugged in, I’m wondering if this is fixable?
Yesterday I was walking towards my car and the headphones got caught on the door handle of my front door. It yanked the headphones out of the jack but thankfully not my PSP out of my pocket. (I bought a heavy plastic casing since I’m prone to dropping the poor thing anyway. Best 20 bucks I’ve spent in my life.) Tangents aside, when I plugged my headphones back in the sound echoed and though both the speakers worked it sounded like one side of the sound was so much quieter than the other.
At first I thought it was my headphones but when I tried two other known working pairs as well as my room-mate’s car speakers the sound still is like that. Is it fixable, can I send it in to Sony and they’ll repair it or even fix it myself? Or is it a lost cause?
Sendning it in to Sony will definatly get it fixed. It sounds like a software glitch. If you want your sound back just try fooling with the thing. Mess with the settings and see if that helps. If that doesent, than Sony is your best choice.
