No, you don’t need to buy accessories to be happy with it, but I think you’d want to protect your PSP (wrist strap, screen protectors) and have the fun little extras.
I have 3 games for it, plus I bought an accessory kit made by Gameshark at Best Buy. I got it for Christmas, but they spent $250 (plus tax). Adding this up, this is about $430. Yeah…it kinda hurt my wallet.
I personally think it’s worth it. The games are pretty good. Plus there’s the internet browser. Sure the keyboard isn’t simple but it’s pretty much like text messaging on a cell phone.
