What will follow Sony PSP?
Just curious, no one knows if Sony PSP soon removed or replaced by a new model / version? I plan to replace my mp3 player, I think buy either an iPod or PSP. I will use mainly for listening music (or watch during lunch Whenever I go out with friends). I am leaning towards buying a PSP, but my main concern is whether to go early or are replaced later.
Good choice, I have a PSP, but if you buy a stick suggest buying a larger memory. I have 1GB and does not work as well. Anywho, the answer to your question … Sony has launched two new versions of the PSP, a black and white, and now has a cable, you can buy to put your games and movies on your TV. The PSP has a bright future, these new models to a new set for release around Christmas to promote God of War Chains of Olympus (although rumors of the phone function is added to all the rage!), remain for the PSP some time.

PSP 2000 models are best for several reasons.
PSP 3000 battery life is worse because it has a bigger screen and the screen has some issues displaying stuff sometimes.
PSP 3000s also come with very difficult to hack motherboards with little to no workarounds to play pirates games.
IDEALLY you would want a PSP 2000 (Slim) type PSP with a Firmware that’s 5.03 or less . PSP firmware 5.03 is the last confirmed PSP 2000 that can run a homebrew environment so you can play pirated games. The last one featuring the TA88V3 motherboard anyway – this one bricks your psp if you try to crack it normally.
