Why won’t Action Replay work on my PSP Go?
I just recently installed Action Replay onto my PSP Go by connecting it to my laptop and running the installer. The application installed fine, the problem is with the cheats. After selecting cheats for 3 different games I own: God Of War: Chains of Olympus, Little Big Planet, and GTA: Chinatown Wars, I press Start and I select “Start with Codes Enabled (Disabled)”, and let it restart my PSP. Then I start up one of the games (tried with all 3), and try using the cheats. None of them work, on any of the 3 games. So I try opening the Action Replay Cheat Menu as described in the PDF How To File by Holding R and pressing the PSP XMB Button. The Menu doesn’t open, only the usual XMB screen.
Is there something I’m doing wrong? Thanks for the help!
The line “Start with Codes Enabled (Disabled)” means you still only have the demo version installed on your PSP, that’s why your codes don’t work.
You will need to delete AR from the PSP, then use the PSP AR Installer to re-add it to your PSP. Don’t forget to put in the license key provided to you in your purchase email when performing the re-install, otherwise the same thing will just happen again.
