Piyotama Review – Piyotama Free Download!
Three years ago, Piyotama came out on the PlayStation 3. A quirky little puzzler, Piyotoma had you staring at a screen filled with eggs and trying to match four of a kind. IGN liked it and said you should pick it up if you were in the mood for a puzzler.

Now, Piyotama is on the PSP. It’s packing the same gameplay idea, online leaderboards and that “one more round before I turn it off” vibe, but for some reason its price tag has gone up by $2.
If you need a bit more explanation of what Piyotama is, imagine a board filled with columns of eggs. You move a row tool up and down the columns and push three off-screen eggs into the fray.
You can rearrange these eggs before you shoot them in, and your goal is to get the eggs you’re pushing in to make a four egg (or more) match. When you shoot them in from the left, you push three out on the right and vice versa.
However, after I played for a while, I got over the seemingly flat package and found a puzzle game that’s solid, challenging, and cute. There’s no story and no real tutorial for Piyotama, but there doesn’t need to be; you’re tossed into the game or you watch one of the three demo videos, and you get it. Match the colors, move the eggs, get awesome combos. It’s light and breezy, and that’s perfect for a system on the go.
Do I wish there were more modes or at least the same price tag as the PS3 version? Of course, but that doesn’t mean this 300-second dose of egging isn’t something you should pick up if you’re in the mood for a nifty little puzzler.

I like Piyotama. It’s not impressive in terms of depth or gameplay, but it’s fun and a solid time killer while you fiddle with your PSP. Trying to beat your best score or make more combos than you ever have before makes for a good time.
