how to Upgrade or Update System Software on PSP (playstation portable)?
i want update & upgrade my psp version to custom firmware version,i have original firmware version on my psp,i have PSP Slim v3.80 M33-5 & i want to upgrade to Dark Alex Custom Firmware (cfw) to v3.90 M33 (or latest v3.90 M33 version) but i don’t know how to manually update it,i confuse about the step of upgrade process,i know it’s risky because if i do anything wrong,i can brick my psp right?anyone??
so i can’t upgrade my psp if i don’t have a pandora battery right?
From what I read around the place, you can’t change a slim’s OFW without a pandoras through softmodding. If you by chance have a paypal account, I strongly reccomend you go to the site dealextreme.com to get you pandoras. Why? Since it is the cheapest way to get a pandoras for about $9US with free shipping.
But yeah with you firmware issue, you can’t downgrade it, you might even brick it using the wrong files. (I heard there’s one deleting crucial system files but that’s a rumour)
Also for curiousity, I think the hackers only managed to create downgraders for 3.51 and under so yeah don’t bother looking and get the pandoras.
