PSP 3000 – Is there a completely new system or a PSP normal is a little more current?
I have a PSP Fat what is the difference be in 3000? Sell my PSP Fat to buy a new one, it's worth? When will you leave? Plz answer thx
The difference between the original and the PSP 3000 is to have a better LCD screen with a higher color gamut, five times the contrast ratio, half the pixel response time to reduce ghosting and motion blur effects and light-control technology to improve outdoor playability. The screen is based on more current than the screen of the PSP-2000, initially causing a reduction in the battery life of the console "20 Minutes" PSP games will now be played on interlaced (not progressive scan) televisions via composite video cable. The start and select buttons have changed from semi-circles to oval, with the start button is replaced by a "PS Button" similar to the PS3 DualShock 3. The PSP-3000 was launched October 14, 2008, to North America (U.S. $ 199.99 for the bundles and U.S. $ 169.99 for the core, which later published), in Europe on October 15, 2008, [7] and Australia October 16, 2008, for AU $ 299.95. Isint so much difference, but if you want, then buy.
PSP dies after new update, seeks last rites…?
I have owned my PSP for years, but yesterday I bought “Burnout” and needed to install the update. Halfway through, my systems just DIED! The green power light still glows for a minute, but no fan sounds, no images, no nothing. I’ve tried removing the battery, memory stick duo and game/disk. I’ve pressed all the buttons and tried to read through the manual, but nada. I don’t expect to still be under warranty, but it was a brand new game that I feel did this, so what’s the deal? And where does a person take a PSP for repair? It’s otherwise in like-new condition with never any problems, so I’d like to think it’s worth saving.
Please, only helpful and useful answers or remarks need be posted here.
There can be a few things wrong. First, make sure that you didn’t accidentally turn the hold mode on. Next it very well may be that you need a new battery. If neither of these work, you’ll most likely have to call Sony’s “Careline” for repairs. It is not a US/Canada number, so international fees may apply, but here is the number: 08705 99 88 77. I checked for you, and evidently, Sony doesn’t have a 1-800 number like most companies that do business in the US.
