I want a PSP Go, because it will probably lose money and I'll have two games Welcome Package, the more you have already purchased two sets. Then I realized that the battery is less than 1000mAh, which is really bad, but it has not need to turn the UMD. Well where I can find an update on the battery? I know you have to take the back of the PSP to get there. Do they work the battery or will take a smaller? PSP 3000 – Everything You Should Know
The PSP-3000 is a revamp of Sony’s popular handheld PlayStation Portable. The PSP-3000 was announced in the Leipzig games convention 2008 in Germany. The PSP-3000 is slimmer than the PSP slim & Lite, a successor to PSP-1000. Though the PSP-3000 looks almost the same as its predecessors there are some helpful features built in to it that not only enhance game play & other capabilities.
The new useful features introduced in PSP-3000 are a built in microphone, increased color range in LCD combined with five times the contrast ratio, superior sub-pixel structure, trimmed down pixel response rate to reduce ghosting and blurring, novel logosdisc tray & button designs. The LCD screen is not delicate anymore because now it has an anti-reflective coating that is well able to resist glare which makes for improved game play in outdoors. The earlier PSP models measured at about 23 mm but in contact PSP-3000 measures at 18.6 mm.
This constitutes to a reduction in weight with PSP-3000 weighting at 189 grams and the earlier models at 280 grams. The weight loss of the PSP-3000 makes it a slimmer & lighter version as compared with its earlier counterparts. The useful features embedded in PSP-3000 have widened its utility from a portable gaming station to a communications gadget and more. The in built microphone features is used in features like Skype as well as in online gaming. The internal memory is raised from 32 MB to 64 MB to improve web browsers performance and improve loading time for UMD games.
With the new & enhanced features embedded in the PSP-3000 its sales broke new record with 141, 270 units sold in Japan in the first four days of its launch and another 267,000 units sold in October 2008 alone. There were speculations about the battery time of PSP-3000 as manufacturers reduced its battery capacity by 1/3 but due to efficient power usage as an insignia of the PSP series, the battery time of PSP-3000 remained the same in comparison to its earlier models.
