When you load the PSP power light goes green when charging and off. When you try to change the PSP, but the battery has no juice light turn red or flash no such power? Be as specific as possible please I'm new to the PSP and I am certain problems
Without light orange while charging, even if the load during playback. It flashes green for a few seconds, the screen displays a "no battery" sign. Then off.
Why can’t my PSP hold a charge?
I have a PSP 1000 and it works great aside from the fact that the battery life sucks! I always have an estimated charge of 7 hours but and hour and a half later it’s dead again. It’s main use is for video games. I’ve even bought a new battery, but I seem to have the same problem. What’s wrong with my PSP? Is it a common problem or did I just get jacked?
it sounds like your PSP is not charging the battery properly or you are not leaving it on charge long enough ( some devices will say they are full charged when the charging cycle has been interrupted ).
Lithium batteries have a memory and if not fully charged, the next time they charge, they will only charge to the point of last charge.
Best advice would be to run the battery completely flat and then let it charge overnight to full capacity ( this resets the battery memory ).
If this does not solve your problem, then you need to have your PSP looked at by an Authorized Repair Centre.
