HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!? difficult decision
Well, I'm buying a PS2 because my PS3 is my brothers and moved and I can not afford a PS3. But I'll buy a PS3 and I'm a little strapped for cash I can sell my psp 2000 which is in perfect state and reduce the price of a PS2. Or I can do a garage sale to pay for it, but I could not get enough money. What happens is that I keep my PSP because it is portable, but really a PS2 for me to mod and play all my favorite games on it. I mainly use my psp and ps1 games music. Should I sell my psp 2000 or not?
You can keep your 2000 and try to buy or use to buy a PS3 20G 60G. Personally, I would not buy used because they rely on the systems used. If you do not want to use, then store only PS3. You said you wanted right? I just can not afford it? The PS2 is only $ 100 now. buy the PS2, then save the temperarily 3. Once you have the PS3 yet, you probably will not play PS2 games as well.

Trying to get the Composite Cable to hook up the PSP 2001 to my regular TV, but all I keep finding are the ones for the PSP 2000, which does NOT work. I even tried it at the store to make sure before I bought it because I’m tired of th sales guys saying “Oh yeah… It’ll work.” just to have me waste more money on useless crap. Got sound but no picture. Anyone know where I can buy the right one? A part number and brand would help too. Again… I have the PSP 2001, not 2000. The 2000 cable does NOT work!!!
the psp 2000 series are all the same they’re just named 2001,2002 etc because of the region they are from. 2000 is the japanese model and 2001 is the american one i believe.
it sounds like you are plugging into the wrong inputs on your tv, also be aware that you can’t play games on a tv with the composite cable. Only a component cable and a tv with progressive scan can do that.
EDIT – i just worked out your problem, you have to hold down the display button (the button with the picture of a square on it) for 5 seconds to tell the psp to output video to your tv.
