Eboot format and PSP games?

Hey, I just recently got a PSP for Christmas and the new PSP 3000 and I tried to download EBOOT.PBP format game and tried to put it on my psp, everything works fine until I try to start the game and then gives me a warning copyright information is invalid and I just wanted to know if I need a custom firmware to play these games, because I know that the new PSP has a different motherboard in them that makes it impossible to execute custom firmware in the … any help would be great

. PBP format is used in all PSP demos. It is also the format for homebrew applications and is used by PopStation (EMU PSOne). THAT the official demo. Pbp would OFW / CFW. Other cfw needed.

Custom firmware PSP 3000?

I have a PSP from the 3000 series and I would like to play iso games but in-order to do that I would need custom firmware and I also (by accident) upgraded to the OFFICIAL 6.20 firmware.
