PSP GEN-A/B installation?
Of course, I do not use CFW for any illegal purposes and I buy my games and back it up on my memory to save the bother bringing the UMD (Plus music).
Anyways, I’ve noticed theres a release for the psp 2000 v3 and 3000 (5.03 GEN series). I want to install it but after what happened to my last psp, (Installed a < TA088v3 cfw...) I really don't want to risk it. So, my question is, does this cfw work on ALL psp models / mobos? And is there any cause of bricking other than the fiddling of the files?
All Custom Firmware carries the risk of Bricking, if carried out properly you can’t brick your PSP. You should use HEN on 5.03 to enable a Homebrew Environment. Then install GEN through it. GEN is compatible with all models PSP (except PSP Go).
