PSP 1001 is basically a PSP 3000?
Probably a stupid question, but I really need to know because I'm about to buy eBay skin PSP (my PSP is poor scratches). I know that the fat PSP 1001 is compared with the PSP Slim 2001 … but I want to know if its basically the same the PSP is the PSP 3000 or 3000? Thx I ask because I'm going to buy a skin and I wanted to know if the skin is compatible with a PSP in 1001 as you would PSP 3000. If you to ebay.com and search for skins PSP 1001, you will see that nobody seems to be selling everything. This is why I ask.

How Do You Put PSP 3000 Skins On?
It sounds like a weird question but when i see a PSP with a skin on it, it doesn’t look like rubber it looks like there painted on. but idon’tt know. I want to get a PSP 3000 around christmas.

I kid. You get a kit that has the skin, a little squeegee, and sometimes a screen protector.
Before you start taking of tape and getting things sticky, line up the skin with where you want it. That way you see where everything should be before you go placing it down and having to lift it and waste the adhesive back.
Now, you start at one side of the system placing the skin on the very edge of where you look to place it. Press it down the middle around the buttons then go outward. Use the little squeegee to get bubbles out. Then once you get to the screen border make sure you keep it straight and press it firmly. Repeat the center to out technique on the other side of the system. Not flip it over and place the other 3 panels the same way by eyeing it out, starting at one side from the middle and working outward. Make sure no bubbles are left.
Do the same for a screen protector.
