Well today, I asked just now "Do I get the" PSP, and make many visits, I decided, "I'll have a PSP." Now, I asked this question: "Do I need a Memory Stick Duo to play a game on the PSP? Do not come with a 64MB memory internall. I want Street Fighter Alpha Max that my first game. You still need to buy a Memory Stick Duo? By the way … If you have Street Fighter, "How is it? Vista doesn’t support 8gb pro duo memory sticks?
I bought a 8gb memory stick and when I format it on the PSP it shows the full 8gbs but when I connect it to my computer next I have to format it and the max it shows is 4gb. So I have 2 problems in.. one it’ll ask me to format the memory on either one the psp or computer when is formatted on the other. 2nd.. it only shows up as 3.58gb on Vista. Perhaps I must use Xp to access a psp formatted stick and also get full 8gb potential?
I don’t think Vista/XP is the issue, I think the problem is that the memory stick reader (the device you stick the memory stick in) doesn’t support 8gb memory sticks. (Unless you’re trying to access it on the computer using the PSP as the reader in which case it sounds like a driver issue.)
