PSP Firmware Question?
I think to buy a PSP. What firmware version are most of the PSP for sale?
It depends, if you like the new games and do not care for homebrew applications, then the firmware does not matter. All PSP games that require above Firmware 1.5 are delivered with the installation file in the game If you're interested in homebrew applications like emulators, then (for now) firmware 2.6 may be reduced to 1.5, then handled the majority of its content. New PSP firmware 2.0 or higher, but some may have been on shelves since its launch and have firmware 1.5 or 1.6.
PSP Custom Firmware Questions?
I just bought a PSP Slim 3.80 Original Firmware, and I want to be able to back up my PSP games, and put on ISO/CSO games. Ive searched around but all i keep hearing about is PANDORA BATTERY? I Dont want to mess with my battery.
So my question is how do i go about getting a custom firmware (SAFELY) without doing the pandora thing, do i have to have CFW to put on ISO/CSO to Memory Stick?
Where do i get the Custom firware? which one do i need?
Any help is much appreciated. Thanks. (Sorry for the NOOB questions)
there are 2 types of pandora batteries
had modded and soft modded
in softmod we don’t open the battery but we flash the battery with a software
then after you use it to downgrade then you can return it to a normal one
in hard mod you open up the battery and mess up with the wires
that will keep your battery pandora 4ever
trust me soft mod is easy
u just need access to a psp with custom firmware
