How to fix a broken PSP screen?

what happened: Someone had a tutorial http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eSYYJI5gHa8 on how to solve this problem? Probably my warranty expired, I have the Christmas 2007 and probably waaaay past warranty. Case and I can not fix it, when is the next PSP (PSP2?) Will be done, because I will not spend another $ 200 on something perhaps more fragile than this update unless seriously.
