Is there a firmware for the PSP 3000?
I have bin trying to unbrick my friends psp, but I have a PSP 2000 and 3000? Ive bin chickHEN control Psp etc etc and so far are compatible with the PSP Phat and Slim (1000 and 2000) also made a existed? Or are they still working on firmware for 3000:? PS I note outside the firmware and everything, but everything I've bin having problems with the fact that I can not add data stored on games like Monster Hunter and I play Dissidia click the charge and says corrupted data
Custom Firmware 5.03 GEN-B works on the PSP 3000. To install it you must ensure that the agent software version currently installed on your PSP 3000 is less than 5.03, if more is needed to return to less than 5.03
Which PSP should I buy for modding?
Should I get the PSP 1000[the ORIGINAL psp, first version], PSP 2000[PSP Slim] or the PSP 3000[the newest version of the psp] because I was planning on buying GTA LCS and dowgrading the firmware so I could have a lot of exclusive download able content on my PSP such as PS1 games..
I have done this before, I just am unsure of which to buy for the easiest process.
I have a psp 1000 PHAT as you mentioned in your summary and i have done alot of research on it when i tried to install Custom Firmware on it (CFW). From my research, the psp 1000 is the safest way to get cfw in your psp. Downgrading is now an off topic for the psp. You need a psp with a version of 5.03 or less. There is a psp software called ChickHen that enables homebrew on the psp. Very easy to find. Google or Psp-hacks.com. You may then user this homebrew enabler to upgrade cfws to a better version that allows you to play ISO/CSO games. Basically, you need to research on ChickHen and CFW. Google them and learn about them. Only then can you find out which psp you should get for hacking. 1000s and 3000s are easist to hack.
