what to do. y-bin reference files for the PSX game?

I try to get Resident Evil 2 on my psp.I have 5.00 M33-6. I downloaded RE2, and when he opened a reference file. and a bin file .. I'm on a Mac, what do I do with these files? (Please, if you provide a software or something make sure it is compatible with Mac

You do not know with the PSP. But when you Download PC games, you must mount the file. Bin or a. Cue on a CD or a "pseudo" CD with something like DAEMON tools or software alcohol.

How to lower resolution of MP4 videos?

OK, so I downloaded HD videos (frag movies) for my PSP and I noticed that the resolution is far too high to be able to play on my PSP…
it seems that I need 368×208 max to be able to play video otherwise it’s unsupported. Do I need some sort of software to be able to lower the resolution? Anyone know how to do it?

I hope you like versatility over user-friendliness because that’s where the best results are to be had.

There is a free video player called Mplayer, it has a windows version called Mencoder that can change anything to practically anything and resize it too. It works best from command-line, but there is at least one freeware GUI that works with it also.

Another one I use is ffmpeg. Like mplayer it can do practically anything, and mplayer often invokes it (mplayer started on linux and most linux machines have ffmpeg by default). I am sure ffmpeg is available for windows and mac too. Yes you have to use command-line syntax but it’s not complicated. Similar to this:

ffmpeg -oac lavc -ovc lavc -w 368 -h 208 -i oldvideo.mp4 -o newvideo.mp4

Not difficult at all, just read the directions.

I am sure there are plenty of GUI freeware resizers also but nowhere near as versatile… if you want to make the video still look good after it’s shrunk. Also most GUI freeware contains at least some level of badware. Like TVersity which demands you use .net to let it spy on what videos you watch.
