How do you preform a system software update on the PSP?
I try to do a distance on my PS3 and PSP, but the PS3 says I need a software update for the PSP system? How do I preform? I ds lite and I like Xbox 360 is a piece of s * t * i * i, they are facing.
on its home page, select Settings, then update the network. as long as your PSP is connected your wifi (if any), must find and download the latest update. , Go to your memory stick and software should be there. select it and choose to install.
How can I update my psp system software to 5.5 [my software is 3.90 M33]?
Is there a way I can update it without using the psp wifi? My internet in my psp is blocked.
You need a Memory Stick Pro Duo and you put the update (eboot) into a folder called UPDATE in the X:PSP/GAME then on the psp it will have a game along the lines of “PSP firmware update 5.5″
If you want to install the CFW 5.5 GEN-D the heres a link the a site with all the downloads you will need http://pspslimhacks.com/psp-firmware/ and its pretty much the same as the offcial install.
