You can brick my psp if i update my PSP?
I want to upgrade my PSP 3004 from 4.20 to 5.03, but is a European version and I www.us.playstation.com file update. "" However, DO NOT update your PSP ® system through this website if you purchased your system outside North America. There is no guarantee of proper operation with models sold outside North America. "I can not brick my PSP if I try to update from there?
might be possible, I would say that the change pspupdates.qj.net when it comes to Updated firmware. Indeed, a new custom firmware was released yesterday for the PSP-3000 models.
need help with my psp?
well the question speaks it all.i have updated my psp to version 5.03 but i dont know how to put in .iso games directly into the psp.is there such thing like i create some extra files into my psp and so i can just directly put in .iso games into the folder ? i really need help manzxz.so far my psp only has the PSP file which includes > GAME, SYSTEM, MUSIC, PHOTO, SAVEDDATA, PRX in its sub folders.do i need any more folders ?? please help me !!! thank you very much (:
To put ISO’s on ur psp u have to get a CUSTOM FIRMWARE, which is a modified firmware for psp.
this firmware will let u put ISO’s, XMB themes, PSPTUBE, and much more….
So u have Official Firmware (5.03), the only way to get custom firmware with that software is to get the PANDORA BATTERY and the MEMORY MAGIC, which are the same battery and memory but hacked..
(u can get the battery from amazon with the name “datel” or “battery service tool”)
(u can create the memory by just downloading a program that hacks it)
after u get this 2 items, u are ready to hack ur psp..
first u put the battery and the memory (hacked) into the psp, then a black screen with white letters will appear on ur psp, now all u have to do is press X on every thing and u will get ur CUSTOM FIRMWARE!!!
Now to put ISO’s u have to create a folder in ur psp called “ISO” then ull have to figure out where to download the iso games (type iso games in google)
before u download u have to install WINRAR into ur computer so that the files show up, then get a ISO to CSO converter (most isos are 1gig, which is a lot, and the cso is like 400 megas)
they will both work in the folder ISO.
then after u have the iso as a CSO u can now put it in the ISO folder…
now u have to turn on something in the RECOVERY MENU
(restart ur psp and turn it on pressing R)
open configuration, and go to umd mode, and switch it to m33 (no umd) (or sony driver)
click on back and exit
now u are good to go.
