are you getting a 000000001 error?
are you getting a dns server error?
are ytou getting a no network found error?
are you getting a check security error?
are you getting a ip time out?
are you getting a wlan error?
the reason yahoo says to give as much detail as you can, is because telling someone how to fix all those errors could take hours of writing due to the unknowns.
the unkowns being:
does your network support 802.11b?
have you successfully connected other things to your network?
do you have security on your network?
if so, does your firmware support that type of security?
if it does support it, what is your level of encryption?
does your network support client lists?
how strong is your network connection?
have you ever been able to connect to another wireless network?
how many wireless ports does your router support?
