More help with my wireless router?
I asked twice, but I can not. Basically, my-Link DIR-300 Router D does not let me access the Internet. He worked for a while, but when WEP security was the installation was suddenly stopped. If I go to Control Panel – Network Info> that says I have a LAN connection to work. I know that wireless works because I can access it on my PSP. But I can not go anywhere. All cables are running and connected correctly. My normal modem works fine by itself, does not stop until I put the router. All the lights that indicate the condition correctly. The strangest thing is I can not access 192.168.0.1 wizard that I'm supposed to be able to do so. I was in a little while ago, but I can not nor for any reason. I could have complicated settings or something – any ideas how I can go back to that? I am SO confused. Everything seems to work perfectly – status lights, wireless working, active network on the control board – but I can not access a site. PLEASE HELP.
If you missed with MAC address filtering on Some routers use for all connections not just wireless. Have you tried disconnecting cable for one minute and reconnect? This resolves the vast majority of issues such as he. Routers are computers. When they do crazy shit on again. If nothing works, you'll need to put it in default with the reset button and replace.

i have bought wireless router “Belkin’s N wireless router”
and when i first installed it or set it up,it was perfectly fine,it connected to my wireless devices like my PSP and it also worked fine with my computer in LAN.
but after 2 months,it keeps disconnecting from my modem,the little light with the modem icon flashes RED and i can’t access the internet via LAN or WLAN but oddly enough,when i disconnect it from the router and just connect to net’ directly from my modem,i get connected and with incredible speed.
i’m not sure what’s happening but please help!!
my network has secure WAP encryption.
i got a good software firewall and awesome security so i’m not worried about any hackers or malware.
i just want to play online with my PSP ;(
also i have reset the router several times and even restored the “factory defaults” and nothing.
Sounds like you’re router might have took a crap on ya. With that being said it isn’t generally safe to jack straight into your modem, unless you have a software based firewall. If you’re able to log in you’re router, you can see if the settings have been reset or not. Worst case call you’re ISP and they “should” try and help, but ultimately a new router might be your best bet. Not sure if I’d go with the “N draft” though. Standards for N aren’t in place yet and could change anytime.
