psp wireless network not supported

I can not connect to internet on my psp – need help please?

I have a linksys router and running. Can I use the wireless Internet via my laptop but not on my psp. When you search networks, I see my name routers, buy said "not compatible" What does this mean? And is there a way I can solve this problem? I can connect with my cousins Wi-Fi WLAN so I do not work not on my psp.

I really wish people did not know what they said, speaking wouldnt. Why in the hell does anyone think eliminate the need to provide security a PSP? I guess # 1. not a PSP or a wireless device, # 2. they do not have a wireless network, # 3. They could not imagine how to build the network, so that installed in a facility firedog $ 200. There could be some reasons why you get this error. Make sure the router is broadcasting signal 802.11B following to see NAT, DHCP, UPnP is enabled do not know if Linksys has published new router that supports WEP 104 – bit, but if that is the case, that the level of encryption is not compatible with the PSP. switch to WPA or a customer list.

Router question (Wii & PSP)?

So I have owned a Wii for over a year now, my psp almost 3 years, and I would like to get them both online again. I’m 14 years old and I’m not a huge fan of networking computers (I’ve had huge problems with them in the past). Also, my dad, who knew lots more about wireless networking passed away two years ago so I’m without his help now. So I need some information to do this right. I want a reliable router, not exceeding a $60 price tag. I need one with easy set-up and good customer support. But again, my main focus is the reliability. With my old one we would have to reset it over 5 times a day. I know I’m repeating myself heh, but I really, really need one I can leave on all day without problems and acsess at any time. Thanks, also if you need more info to help me just e-mail me. TravisGale93@yahoo.com. Thanks!

Most home networking routers are very realiable now… I generally use Linksys, as they are proven to be very good products, however sometimes not the easiest to set up. The easiest is by far NetGear.

It’s a tradeoff… personally.. any Linksys router is a good choice, I’ve only had 1 break and it was replaced within 3 days. Any wireless router will work with the Wii and PSP.

Note: if you get disconnections and reset problems with wireless – try changing the wireless ‘channel’ first… wireless works on an unlicensed band, therefore anything in the home emitting radio signals can interfere with it. That is why they have multiple channel options to work on.
