I want to connect a laptop to my wireless internet, a backpack is all it takes?
My Desktop PC is powered by Wireless Router Wireless ADSL I give my playstation and my PSP PlayStation 3. My mother gave me her old laptop in a few weeks and although I havent seen it yet, I know that not have been built in WIFI. The laptop is about 5 years and to be honest, I never connected to Internet, and never use it for other things. When she gives me what I thought what is WIFI general tour of the house and use a newbie but I wonder if I can buy a USB dongle Fi Fi is or I need something else? People sell 54Mbps WiFi USB dongles around eight pounds ($ 15) on ebay so if I'm going to buy this item in turn, automatically converts wifi on the laptop and give me access to internet in my house in my wireless router connected to my desktop?

im planning to buy a wireless USB Network Adapter for my laptop, which already has internet access(via cabled modem, not wifi ) and use it as a network connection for my PSP. is it possible to share my internet connection with my psp?or do i need a wireless router?…..thanks in advance
p.s i am using a toshiba satellite a135-s4527 and i think it has wifi cuz there is a wifi switch at the bottom and it can detect my neighbours network connection but cant pickup my PSP for some reason

Hmmm, I’m not going to say what you’re trying to do won’t work but the more clean way to do it would be to replace your current router/hub with a 4-port wired/wireless router like I have here – a Belkin F5D7231-4 . Just hook that puppy up to the uplink you currently have your laptop connected to, then use the wireless for your PSP and/or your laptop.
