Sony PSP vs. Nintendo DSi: What is the best handheld console for a 13 year old boy?
I'm interested in getting a computer Portable gaming news to me, and I'm stuck between these two consoles. I do not like expensive graphics games, sometimes disturbing? ! Which console has better games? What do you think should be and why? Thank you for the answers!
I personally would not put all the records, and i 13 years as the DS is aimed at young children aged 7, 8, maybe ten. I heard PSP GB
Is Monster Hunter Tri Wii worth getting?
This question is asked a lot but I would like some feedback.
I don’t play the wii. I have one and I enjoyed the wii sports.. but other than that, i’m not a huge fan.
BUT I am a fan of Monster Hunter. I think that game is a lot of fun to play and I really like the concept.
So my question, is this new wii game worth getting?
Its not on a next gen console since playstation turned it down.
This is the same game released a few years ago in Japan so the graphics probably haven’t improved at all.
I know graphics don’t make a video game great, but does this game have any new concepts? Is it the same game with lower graphics?
Why should I buy THIS game if its offering me the same thing as the games that preceded it?
Wouldn’t it be cheaper and a better idea just to buy one of the previous monster hunters? Or the Psp versions?
I mean.. if graphics don’t matter, right?

Sony didn’t turn it down. Capcom evaluated the business propects of the game part-way through development and realized that with PS3′s sales being less than impressive at that point, there was no way a rather niche title like Monster Hunter would be able to turn a profit on PS3. However, due to a few factors (most notably the lack of a need for HD textures), developing a game on Wii costs about 1/4 what the same game of the same quality does on PS3 or 360. At that point, it could turn a profit, so they switched the system they were developing it for.
It’s still a Monster Hunter game, through and through. There’s still practically no story. There’s still a load of farming the same boss for body parts to make new armor to become tough enoguh to beat the next boss. The only significant difference is that its the first time outside Japan a Monster Hunter game has had a server-based online system, making it much easier to find people to play with and opening up the ability for Capcom to release new quests to players over time (though the Wii’s limited long-term storage space will likely prevent the release of quests using new creatures or zones. Also, the first area you get to quest in is available to explore without quests, and as you beat new bosses, they will start randomly appearing in that free hunt area.
