Howi can degrade my version of Sony PSP from 2.5 to 1.5, I already read the instructions for Sony x team.i am not successful
Why do they want to u its worse than the PSP is not so bad, I think the PSP is amazing.
How risky IS putting custom firmware to a psp?
Well I have the latest version, legit download from sony, but I want to play PSN games on my PSP (which needed 2.5) however I have the latest version 3.9 I think. I know going from 3.9 to 1.5 is to risky and I wont try it but 3.9 to 2.5?….
so, is it risky? Websites make it seem so simple…

It’s not as risky as some on the internet make you feel it is. They just don’t want to take the blame if you make a mistake while following their instructions.
So, you will remember when you updated your PSP firmware, maybe from 3.71 to 3.80. It’s roughly as risky as that.
Also, you’ll be using Pandora, so if you have that handy all the time, even if you somehow brick your PSP, you can just put the Pandora and unbrick it. So it can’t really go wrong if you have Pandora.
