which is the better buy? Nintendo DS or Sony PSP? (they are all in the $100-$200 range so price is a factor). Which is overall better(games, features, battery life, online, and fun)?
GAMES –
PSP Fanboys and Sony are raving about God Of War and GTA, but that’s really all they have. But the plain and simple fact is, Nintendo DS has better games.
Nintendogs, Super Mario, Call Of Duty 4, Assassin’s Creed, Animal Crossing, Pokemon D&P, Mario Kart and Zelda.
Plus Guitar Hero: On Tour is coming out for the DS soon.
FEATURES -
PSP can play music, go on the net, and play MPG videos.
The DS has a stylus, so you can play touchscreen games.
Plus you can set up and change your profile on DS.
You can also play Wireless games with your friends.
And you can chat by drawing and writing in Pictochat.
There are many changable features in the DS aswell to optimize your gameplay experience.
BATTERY LIFE –
The Nintendo DS has been praised many times by critics and fans for it’s remarkably long battery life. Especially if you don’t have the screen too bright. My DS lasts 6-8 hours.
PSP averages 3-4 hours on performance tests.
ONLINE –
The PSP can access the internet.
The DS has wireless multiplayer capabilities, and it also has Wi-Fi capabilities so you can compare your best score to others around the world.
FUN -
The DS definitely wins this aswell. With the Stylus you can do many things, including playing with your dog in Nintendogs, select items from the screen in loads of games, play mini-games, and play games that only use the stylus such as Yoshi Touch & Go and Drawn to Life, that would not be possible with a PSP.
Plus the DS has 2 screens, so you can have a map on one, and a character on the other, or something like that.
Plus, DS games are far cheaper.
