Where can I fix my PSP?

Why do you need a PS3 to play a PSP game online!?!?!?
Ok so i was reading that Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker will be online as well as Co – op yet for some reason you need a PS3 to play online :/ any reason as to why? is it just Sony trying to rake in money? because the PSP is perfectly capable of going online to playstation store ETC yet for a game its impossible without a 250 quid machine?
because of how online games use servers , how the lobbies are set up and how the psp wifi connects to the internet and other PSPs online play of most games isn’t possible . someone thought that since you could easily connect a psp to the ps3 for remote play using the ps3 internet connection why couldn’t you play ad-hoc games online too . ( ad-hoc is how 2 psp consoles can use their wifi to connect for local multiplayer games ) – they released a ps3 app called ad-hoc party so these games could connect through a ps3 internet connection and play online , it’s for people already owning both systems – they’re just using this app to allow online play of a game that normally couldn’t have it . don’t already own both ? you still can have ad-hoc local multiplayer but just can’t play online . online play like this is just a new feature available , yeah they hope people might buy a ps3 and psp both – smart business practice to make the 2 systems interconnect in different ways – but nobody forces you to have both .
they are just saying that if you do have both systems there are advantages like online multiplayer psp games , easy transfer and storage of psp games , playing ps3 games from a psp , etc. .
