To enjoy the new GOW: Ghost of Sparta demo, cutom firmware later than I should download?
I just downloaded the Spirit the new Sparta demo on my PS3 and put it on my psp. However, I can not play b / c it says I have version 3.90 of the system, which is actually M33 from 3.90 to 2. It says I need update to 6.20. Is there a firmware update CUTSTOM I can download, and if so, I would play the demo? I do not want to download the original Sony update, b / c I will not let me download and play games on the PSP. If anyone has any suggestions, I would appreciate it. But if you want help, do not answer the question.

How do I update fromCFW 3.90 M33-2 to CFW 4.01 M33-2?
I downloaded the CFW 4.01 M33 and CFW 4.01 M33-2 Update from dark-alex.org and pasted the updater to file:/PSP/GAME. But when I run it from the game menu, it says “401.PBP not found”. The thing is that we dont have Wi-Fi in our place. Can I install the Sony Official Firmware 4.01 first and then run the updater from dark alex? Because I once encountered it saying “No need to update”. Otherwise, tell me all and everything I need to do to update from 3.90 to 4.01 M33-2.
Well, the answer to your question is you need to have the 4.01.PBP file from Sony. But do NOT install that first,as once you do that, you’ll be stuck with it unless you have a pandora’s battery and magic mem stick to downgrade, as Sony doesn’t let you mess around with their firmware, that’s why people are so anxious to get custom firmwares on their PSPs.
