Wireless connections do not work, but my cable is working?
Okay, so here's my situation. My cable connection (PC directly on the router / modem) works. Wireless does not work for any device, including two different laptops, Sony PSP and Sony PS3. They worked very few hours earlier. When I enter the connection settings, I can see my router listed under the force of 100% select, enter my WEP key but still does not connect. Is the wait time. Any idea what's wrong or what can I do to fix it.
There are too many things I could be wrong. If it worked some time ago, and has not changed the settings, then the problem is something else. There may be interference from other wireless devices. Change the channel your access point (router / modem). But it could be something else. Just keep in investigation.
Need Help with my Wireless router?
So i have a Cascaded setup with my Linksys (not sure of the Model) being the Wired router (since i have a Vonage connection), and i have a Dlink DI-524 as my Wireless router, which initially i used for Wireless devices like my Nintendo DS, and Sony PSP. Recently, i got another PC and tried to setup a Wireless connection with the Wireless USB stick that came with my router, and for some reason i’m not able to get a connection, despite the fact that the connections are easily established and functional when i connect with my PSP and DS (which is really odd). Also, recently, i tried to check my settings with my Wireless router, and everytime i try to do so, it keeps giving me a Page cannot be displayed message (in IE and Firefox), and i cannto acess my router. So is there anyway of fixing this problem? Thanks.
try resetting your router…either by pressing a button some where on it (hole on the bottom) or by unplugging it, waiting a few seconds, then plugging it back in. Be warned that sometimes it will remove all your security settings for the router if you reset it (you will need to reinstate security through your router or your operating system)
