Range of a wireless router?
I am looking for a wireless router that I use in my home to be in compliance with my Sony PSP and Nintendo DS. The configuration is that the router is upstairs in a two-story house with my team only. The router is Originally a printer in a closet. Leaving the room, a front bedroom. Go to the right are the carpeted stairs. 13 of them down, one less than the last. Stairs last brick in a field followed by hardwood floors. All the walls are plaster. My question is, Can I have a wireless router to generate a signal from top to bottom?

The router and your PSP (duh obvious, but keep me)-The signal intensity depends on two devices. Both devices must have the power to hear each other over large surfaces. Imagine that you (as the router) are on top of a mountain with a mass configuration of speakers and a microphone. If you speak, people (like the PSP) on the track near mountain can be heard clearly. But hey! the village near the mountain has no powerful speaker!. Then, when "talking" to you, you can not hear them. This situation is the same with a signal WiFi. -Choose the best location in the line of sight. As Note: The signal power (milliwatts) is attenuated by the square root of the distance. So you can really do a simple arithmetic calculation to determine the extent of its PSP and router. 
To Troubleshoot PS2 Wireless Guitar

- Check the control box for the PS2 wireless guitar controller and establish that it is plugged into the front of the PlayStation 2. This control box is used to allow the system and the controller to communicate with each other. If this control box is not plugged in, your guitar controller will not function even if it is switched on and has batteries.
- Confirm that the control box is plugged into the “Player 1″ controller port on your Sony PlayStation 2, if you are only playing one player; if it is plugged into the “Player 2″ controller port, the wireless guitar controller will not function properly.
