loads while playing the PSP (slim) damage the battery or the console itself?
urrrgg, I have a headache. Some people say not to damage the battery. But the lady I bought my PSP Slim said he should not, the PSP battery will be damaged. I do not want to take risks, I just bought this last week Baby, and if my father, I discovered somehow damage the battery .. drink. I need an answer that is 100% sure .. Thank you. By the way, my sister have a sony mp3 player. it does not use the adapter it, so I am free to use. even the same outlet as my charger. but the adapter is 4.5''''V, but in the bottom of my dice''5''V thin. Is it compatible? and I have the battery inside if I could use? sorry for the long question. I'm a noob coil on the console. Any help would be greatly appreciated !!!:)

what are the uses of a sony psp..i heard that a psp is not just a gaming console,,it can be used as many things near a computer can be used…for example reading e-books is very important for me…please explain,,,thanks
Hi again!! A PSP is a multimedia console. That means that you can view pictures, movies on the wide screen, access the Internet if you have a WLAN router and many more.
The PSP has a Memory Card slot. An original 2GB card is about 220 RON (if you still are interested in buying one from Romania). To convert movies you need a special software. The best FREE one is found here: http://www.pspvideo9.com/. It’s very simple to use. music can also be stored on the PSP and the sound is pretty good although you should invest in good earphones. I recommend Phillips ones you can find them in Timisoara (if you still live there) in an Altex Mega store..A good pair is about 50 RON. To transfer all of these on a your PSP you need an USB cable which is given withe the device when purchased. If not you need a standard USB to mini USB cable which is very cheap at an IT store.
For Internet connection, you need a Wireless Router. It costs about 150 RON (I have one for my laptop). You simply attach it to your cable modem and beams of radio start being emitted by the router and received by the WiFi circuit in the PSP. The Internet browser is pretty good, and it allows you to view full Internet pages even tabbed browsing like Firefox. The router also comes with information on how to install it so don’t worry. After this you will have Internet access in your house only because the WiFi is limited to 30 m depending on of the signal.
You you want applications and stuff for your PSP that cannot be done legally because Sony includes in it’s PSP security fixes in firmware (the updated software on your PSP) that restrain you to run home-made applications (homebrew). On how to cheat this find more here : http://forums.qj.net/f–40.html/. you need to spend a few days documenting yourself before you do the things described here or you will damage your PSP. But first read all of these threads on this forum. Find similar forums. This is illegal so I’m not allowed to describe how to cheat Sony firmware.
